  • Pemigewasset Wilderness, White Mountains, NH
  • 3 days/2 nights plus travel
  • Summit/traverse 9-10 4000 ft peaks
  • Traverse Bonds and Franconia Ridges two very scenic sections
  • Long sections above tree-line
  • 37 rugged miles total
  • about 9000 ft vertical gain total

Drive (11 hrs)
Camp at Layfayette Campsite

7/31 Friday
Park at Greenleaf trailhead
Hike Greenleaf to Pemi loop, to go in CCW direction
Follow loop to Liberty Springs Tentsite
6.9 miles, 3348 ft gain, 2185 ft loss

8/01 Saturday
Hike to Guyote Tentsite
14.9 miles, 4589 ft gain, 4722 ft loss

8/02 Sunday
Hike back to car
12.0 miles, 4237 ft gain, 6551 ft loss
